STANDARD submission policies for the Art-online directory

Registration

You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the submission form and update the information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete by sending an email through the application form on the contact page.

Content submitted

You are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, email, transmit or otherwise make available via Art-online. Art-online declines any responsibility whatsoever. Art-online does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. Under no circumstances will Art-online be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, for any errors or omissions in any Content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the service.

The cost of standard submission

Art-online standard submission is free

The submission applies to one single website submitted for listing in one single category. To list a website in two different categories, you have to submit the website twice.

If your submission is accepted, your website will be indexed for an unlimited period of time.

Indexation

The Art-online standard submission guarantees that an Art-online editor will look at your site and consider it for indexation in the Directory.

You understand and agree that the treatment is not guaranteed in time. We process the submissions with the date of arrival. Waiting can be of several months.

You understand and agree that submission does not automatically guarantee inclusion in the Directory.

You understand that the indexation in the Directory is not guaranteed. There is no obligation of any kind for Art-online to accept and list your site in the directory.

If Art-online editors accept to include your site, they reserve the right to change your choice of category, your title, keywords and description in their sole discretion.

Art-online and its editors reserve the right to remove your site from the directory or to change its indexation in the categories, to change the keywords, title, description, for any reasons, in their sole discretion.

Exclusions

Art-online and its editors shall have the right in their sole discretion to refuse or exclude a submission. These exclusions include but are not limited to :

  • pages which tries to manipulate the directory : pages with text that is not easy to read, pages with off-topic or excessive keywords,
  • the same page submitted several times or the same page submitted from different domains
  • pages which only redirect to another page
  • pages with a pornographic, adult or mature content, pages with racist or anti-Semitic content, pages with illegal or offensive content
  • pages with errors or under construction
  • pages which content is not relevant to art or culture
  • pages that violates the Terms and Conditions or is otherwise objectionable.

Feedback

Art-online will send no feedback whether the site is accepted or refused.

If Art-online editors accept your site and you would like to ask for some modification about the indexation, please send us your request through the application form on the contact page.

The contract

To submit your website, you must accept all of the following conditions, as it will be asked in the application form:

  • I have read and agree to be bound by the Art-online Standard Submissions policies.
  • I understand and agree that there is no guarantee my site will be added to Art-online.
  • I understand and agree that Art-online reserves the right to include and place my site in the appropriate category.
  • I understand and agree that if my site is listed, it will be treated as any other website in Art-online and will receive no special consideration.
  • My site must be up and running 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • No part of my site is under construction. All links on the site work.
  • My site does not contain any pages with pornographic, adult or mature content, pages with racist or anti-Semitic content, pages with illegal or offensive content.
  • I subscribe to Art-online newsletter.

Disclaimer of warranties

The web changes constantly and no searching or indexing techniques can possibly include all pages accessible on the web in its index of sites. As a result, Art-online does not and cannot guarantee that your search results will be complete or accurate or that the links associated with the index will be complete or accurate or active at the time of your search.

The web sites included in the index are developed by people we do not control. We assume no responsibility for the content of any site included in the index, and are not responsible for any errors or omissions contained in the service (or any site you may link to from the service), or any offensive or objectionable content contained in the service (or any site you may link to from the service).

You understand and agree that your use of our service is at your sole risk. You will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such material.

You understand and agree that the service, index and all information included or accessible from the service, are provided on an «As is», «Where is» and «Where available» basis, and are subject to change at any time without notice to you.

You understand and agree that Art-online makes no warranty that the service will meet your requirements, the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable, the quality of any products, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations, and any errors in the software will be corrected.

General information

These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between you and Art-online company are subject to French law.

The client and the Art-online company accept the competence of the courts of LYON to rule on any litigation.

Privacy policy

We commit ourselves to protect your privacy as well as any personal information that you enter on our website or give by any other means. We use the information to send updated news about Art-online and all the Artprice services and inform you on available promotions at the Art-online and Artprice websites.

The storage and sharing of the information that you enter answers very strict procedures that aim at protecting you against any unauthorized access. These procedures include that we may ask you to prove your identity before we deliver confidential information.

ARTPRICE company can share consolidated statistics regarding clients, sales, exchange structures and website information to trustworthy partners. The information communicated will never contain personal information.

When using our website, you allow ARTPRICE company to gather and use the information you provide. Should we decide to modify the conditions of this commitment, the changes will be reported on the current page. We want you to be aware at any time of what type of information we gather, what we do with it and under which circumstances they are shared.

The information you provide will help us keep you informed of major changes of our website functions, new services and special offers serving your interests.
